Organ Donation is changing

Are you aware that organ donation is changing?

Organ Donation week runs from 2nd – 8th September 2019 and if you do not wish to donate any organs when you die you will need to opt out. As of 2020 anyone who does not opt out will be considered for organ donation if the circumstances are right.

The change in the law in England on Organ Donation comes into effect from Spring 2020, all adults in England will be considered to have agreed to be an organ and tissue donor when they die unless they recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups*. This is known as the ‘opt out’ system.

What this means is that if you have not confirmed whether you want to be an organ donor – either by recording a decision on the NHS Organ Donor Register https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/register-your-decision/register-your-details/ or by speaking to friends or family – it will be considered that you agree to donate your organs when you die.

Organ donation remains an act of great generosity. You still have the right to choose whether or not to be an organ donor. Your family will be consulted about donating your organs when you die.

*Excluded from the law are:

  • people under 18
  • people who lack mental capacity to understand the new arrangements and take the necessary action
  • people who have lived in England for less than 12 months before their death
  • people who are not living here voluntarily

For more information about the law and what you can donate, please feel free to look at the website https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/

Always around to support you

This has been my working view for the last few days.

As long as there is wi-fi or tethering available, I can go on holiday and check and deal with emails, therefore keeping my clients happy as they are still getting the service they signed up for.

Business Anniversary

4 years ago today I launched Really Useful PA. I didn’t know then how successful it would be and I would like to thank all of my clients old and new for helping my career become what it is today.

I love doing what I do and none of this would have been possible without any of my clients and also the continued support of my family and friends.

As the post says you are my extended family, and without you all my career would not have been possible.

Thank you again and I am looking forward to seeing what the next year will bring.

Never Give Up!

Never Give up! Winners are not people who never fail, but people who never quit.

Life is full of ups and downs and thinking about quitting is always easy to want to do, but don’t ever give up on your dreams.

My dream was to run a business and do what I enjoy. This is by helping others to run their business by taking away the parts they don’t need to be tied down with, allowing them more time to build their company in the way they dreamed.

Never sure what to ask at the end of an interview?

Never sure what to ask at the end of an interview?

Most interviewers do invite questions at the end of the interview. Even if they don’t, you must be ready with questions to ask an interviewer regarding the company and your job profile. Asking pertinent questions may impress your interviewer and up your chances of landing the job. However, don’t ask questions for the sake of asking them, since your interviewer will see right through you.

Please read below to see the 8 impressive questions that you can ask.
